The original owner who owns a car restoration / fab shop purchased this ford brand new with the 4. 0 v-6 and 3. 08 open differential and automatic and used it as his personal vehicle. He put approximately 79,000 miles on it before he decided to do a full front to back --in and out --street rod conversion as well as new paint . It now has 82,000+ miles... First off ,everything works as designed . I purchased this ford from the original builder owner. So i'm the second owner.. I have a 1" thick binder of just about every receipt for this build. Drive this ranger anywhere . Dependable as well as powerful. Nothing on this ford is sketchy or on the verge of needing a rebuild or anything. Including brakes and brake hoses as well as brake fluid. Everything mechanical only has about 3,000 miles on it.. Over $16,000. 00 in parts have been added to this truck as part of the customization.. Not counting the original purchase of the truck... Engine * dss racing level 20 short block . 030 over (306) forged pro-x pistons. Forged polished i-beam connecting rods,rotating assembly fully balanced. Edelbrock rpm aluminum cylinder heads (2. 02 in 1. 60 ex) felpro mls gaskets. Edelbrock dual plane air gap intake and holly street avenger 670 carb. Elgin custom ground cam providing excellent low end torque. Dss main bearing support system/pro windage tray. Msd 6al ignition controller, aftermarket distributor. Engine dynoed at 350 hp / 360 ft-lbs transmission * ford aod automatic overdrive built by crt racing transmissions rated to ---600 hp. Full auto or manual shifting ability. 2600 rpm stall speed converter ,auxiliary trans cooler and trans fluid temp gauge. Custom drive shaft and b&m sport shifter. Cooling * custom aluminum radiator,volvo electric fan and dc controls for variable speed / thermostatic control of fan speed. Differential * ford 8. 8 3. 55 ring /pinion with power trax locker. Exhaust * ford racing stainless steel headers,full stainless pipes with cross overs leading to two flow masters (moderate sound rating) brakes * fronts upgraded to cross drilled rotors with new pads,rear brakes are stock drums. Line lock system installed with shifter activation button. Suspension * 3" front and 5" inch rear drop, front: djm drop beams, prothane bushings. Rear: custom leaf springs ,hellwig sway bar. Duff's traction bars. Wheel & tires * american racing matrix wheels with custom off set. Fronts 17x7, rears 17x9. 5 kuhmo ecsta 225/50r 17 fronts and goodyear g-force t/a drag radial 275/40r/17"s body * extensive customizing including one-off fiberglass hood, grill and front bumper. 2014 ford expedition review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. The ford expedition el is a longer bodied version of the regular expedition. The expedition el adds more cargo-carrying capacity with a long 131-inch wheelbase. It is powered by a sohc 5. 4-liter v-8 that is rated at 310 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard equipment. A class iv trailer hitch and trailer sway control are standard. Safety equipment includes front and side-impact air bags, three-row head-protection curtain air bags, anti-lock braking, and electronic stability control with anti-rollover technology. The 2014 ford expedition el is a carryover from 2013.
